I was not sure who was doing the broadcast but after finding out who they were it all made sense to me.

Maybe is just me but I was noticing lots of backhanded shot at Tigers game today and apparently so were the other clowns (as tweeter folks were called by one of ESPN golf broadcasters)on tweeter here is a tweet I seen today:

Those are not my words folks but I agree with him 200%.

In a ESPN pre match interview PGA golfers Curtis Strange and Paul Azinger said that Tiger Woods better days have passed him.

A few moments later they both agreed that Tiger would still win mayors but he won't be the same player.

Fair enough, but it was strange hearing a couple of PGA pros openly criticize another fellow golfer, it reminded me of the perpetual "jumping on the pile "

As a long time sports fan I really don't recall a player in any sport taking a shot at another players ability to play a game, sure you may hear somebody say "so and so had a bad game" but not "so and so can't play or is a has been"

Agree?

In my opinion Mr. Strange and Mr. Azinger took an opportunity to deliver a cheap shots at Tiger on national TV.

Why? I can only guess is envy or just plain hatred or there is some kind of conflict between them and Tiger.

It is rather unusual to be that critical, the tone of voice, in my opinion, sounded deliberate and meant to hurt someone's feeling.

So in the spirit of fairness and the "al asifyouknow" tradition, I'm going put forth some facts about Mr. Curtis Strange and Paul Azinger playing careers.

I'm going to compare stats between Tiger, Azinger and Strange but to be fair I'm going to combine Azinger's and Strange's record vs Tiger Wood.

I think that's fair, don't you?

Paul Azinger has 12 PGA tour wins and 1 major win no green jacket.

Curtis Strange has 17 PGA tour wins and 2 majors no green jacket.

Tiger Woods has 71 (that's seventy-one) PGA tour wins and 14 majors and 4 (that's four) green jackets.

Lets do the totals:

Mr. Strange and Mr. Azinger combined have 29 PGA wins and 3 mayor wins and no green jacket.

Mr. Tiger Woods has....well I don't think we really need to go there, do we?

I didn't want to be mean or take a cheap shot at anyone, let the facts speak for themselves.

The best part of all this was that Tiger went out Sunday afternoon and played like a man, that is all fans can ask for.

To me those gentleman's opinion mean nothing, I'll wait to hear "Tiger's best days are over" from someone who's won oh lets say 71 events, a bunch of majors and a few green jackets only then I'll take that statement seriously. Just saying.

As always this is just my opinion and from what I understand everybody has one and I thank God for that.
