I know that I am not the only one who finds it challenging to lose weight. For the past couple of years, I have tried diet after diet after diet. I attempted to lose that stubborn weight but it just would not shift!

Over the last two to four years nothing seemed to work for me! None of the diets or careful eating habits resulted in me maintaining a healthy weight. Instead, I was slowly putting weight on! The second step is DIET. As I said it is a lifestyle change, so I make sure that to the best of my knowledge I eat healthily. The best approach is to educate yourself about healthy ingredients and healthy cooking. But there are two main points that everybody should follow.

First is that you have to start cooking. It is not hard at all. Healthy food is the easiest to cook.

Second is portion control. That is my biggest challenge. I always ate healthy types of foods, exercised regularly, but because of my big (not even huge) portions I put on extra weight constantly.

As long as it is easy and fun for me to do. I personally have a very sedentary lifestyle with a lot of driving, so 30 extra minutes of light aerobic exercising is my secret ingredient in a two pound a week weight loss.
