The list goes on: Barkley, Malone, Stockton, Ewing....... Is Nash going to be on this list of NBA greats who have never won an NBA championship? Only time will tell. Time that Nash doesn't have very much of. Jason Kidd was able to do it with the Mavericks and he's still playing at the age of 40. Is Nash going to be able to sustain his playing days until he reaches 40? I don't think he even knows what's going to happen with his playing career. He knows this much though. This is going to be the best team he's ever played on and the closest he's going to get to taste an NBA championship.

Probably is Steves last chance. Its a shame he, like Ichiro, spent his best years with a franchise that just coasted along. Though, if someone on PHX had given back to Robert Horry like he gave to Nash in 2009 playoffs, Nash might have gotten a ring that season. But Jason Kidd (still playing at the age of 40)? I think Kidd was close-to-done about five years back.

I know what you mean. If Dallas didn't win the championship in 2011 he would have been done after that season.

Looks like teams are looking for veteran leadership at point guard. Derek Fisher almost won another championship with the Thunder. Let's see what Jason Kidd can do with the Knicks.
