I think pro fighters should be allowed to compete in the Olympics. But the problem is they are not allowed. It would be good for the sport of boxing.
So my question is if pro fighters aren't allowed to compete in the Olympics then why are we allowing pro basketball players to compete? How about those pro tennis players? They're allowed to compete.
So what gives? If you allow professionals from other sports to compete then I think you should allow all professionals from all sports to compete. I think that would be fair?

totally agree.... and anything that would give boxing more exposure/help would be good for the sport. boxing seems to have become a rare sport that has fallen from where it was in the tyson/holyfield era. the good old days of getting pay-per-view and filling the room to watch a heavy weight fight are long gone. and it seems unfair that professionals from other sports can compete, but boxing is left behind again.

I agree, why allow pro hoopsters or Pro hockey players or pro tennis players.
It diminishes the pro titles and events they already have.
No need to have them in the Limpics.
Notice how soccer doesn't allow it's elite players there? The World Cup is what soccer is all about.
No need to clutter it up with Limpic crappola.
Keep the pros out.
Period.

What's next? Tigger going for Limpic Gold? Belittling The Masters?
