Is the U.S. men's basketball team going to win gold? | Lakers fanatic

10:31 AM ET 08.01 | At first I didn't think it was relevant to ask such a question for such a powerful team. The U.S. Olympic men's basketball team doesn't have the tallest lineup but it sure does have the most talent and firepower. They have the reigning NBA MVP and Finals MVP in no other than Lebron James. They have the NBA scoring champion in Kevin Durant. They have Kobe Bryant for veteran leadership and an array of other great players. What more can you ask for? I'm just wondering if there are any countries out there that have a better team than the U.S.? Is it a done deal or is there a dark horse out there that can pull off a shocker? This better not be like the 1972 team that lost in a controversial shocker to the U.S.S.R. in Munich, Germany. Any comments?
