Well, Day 4 of the Olympics had some exiting moments, especially for Canadian athletes.
First, let's start with the biggest news of the day, which was Michael Phelps. The American swimmer became the most decorated Olympian of all time with 19 medals after he and his team won gold in the 4x200m relay.
As for the Canada, it was a bronze medal day.
Meagan Benifeito and her diving partner Roselene Filion won bronze in the women's synchronized 10 metre platform event. Antoine Valois-Fortier won bronze in Judo and Christine Girard won bronze in the 63 kg division in women's weightlifting.
The Canadian women's soccer team came back from a 2-0 deficit to beat Sweden 3-2 and qualified for the quarter-final. They will face Great Britain.
My Blue Jays got hammered by Seattle 7-2 last night.
I also watched Pittsburgh/Chicago Cubs game last night. Pittsburgh's starting pitcher, A. J. Burnette came very close to a no hitter, but couldn't managed to hold on to it. The Pirates did, however, get the 5-0 shut-out.
Finally, the Atlanta Braves won their seventh straight game last night. 7-1 over Miami.
