Yes, I watched both fights and I think Shogun would be a better opponent for Jon Jones rather than Machida.
Yes, it was a knockout win for The dragon in the second round but there were no real good exchanges between the two.
Yes, it took 4 rounds for Rua to take out Vera but it was a definite "WAR"
Yes, Machida was just avoiding his opponent until the knockout. Can he do this against the awesome talent of Jon Jones. I don't think so. Did White make the right decision in choosing Machida over Rua to fight Jon "Bones" Jones?

Machida looked better against Jones than Rua did. Machida won a round from Jones while Rua got blasted continually from start to finish.
Either way, I think both guys will get rematches against Jones (and I'm assuming Jones beats Hendo).
