I like Martinez.
Reasons why, more experience, quicker reflexes, and a lethal right hand.
Martinez is a one of a kind fighter. With Dawson vs Ward taking a lot of attention, Chavez Jr. vs martinez is right there, or even a better matchup, we shall see.
Chavez Jr. has fought two credible opponents of late, and pretty much had his way. Both journeymen in my opinion, but whatever. Chavez Jr. has come up the ranks in the pros with no amatuer background. I do think he's the real deal. Chavez Sr.'s name takes away from his kid, but damn if his kid aint a good boxer. I was highly impressed with the last fight against Andy Lee. Martinez will have some tough rounds with the kid, but he will overcome. I can't wait for this one, sure to be a "barn burner". Of course Chavez has the size advantage, but I believe Martinez, even with his age, is faster. There's a reason Martinez has held his name down in the pound for pound lists for a good while now. Chavez Jr.'s biggest fight by far, will he live past his daddy's name on this one?
