It was a wild one at Fenway Park in Boston last night as the Red Sox took on the Los Angeles Angels.  Both sides exchanged leads throughout the game.  It wasn't until the 10th inning that the Angels took the lead for good,  Final score: 14-13.  A total of 27 runs were scored in this game.

As for my Blue Jays, well they squandered a 2-0 lead an lost to the Detroit Tigers 3-2.

The prospects of the NHL season starting on time does not look good.  After a meeting with the NHLPA this morning, Donald Fehr said the Players Union are not optimistic that a deal can be reached by Oct. 11.

Bob Estes leads the Barclays by one stroke (-8) after 17 holes in the second round.
