This game was ugly.  Ugly

Five total first downs.  Only 101 total yards.  Special teams was horrible. The savior Roscoe Parrish fumbled one punt and muffed another (in addition to a Coye Francies fumble).  Leinart was 3/11 for 14 yards and a pick.  Terrelle Pryor was running for his life.  The defense allowed Seattle down the field easily scoring at will.  It took until 0:15 remaining in the fourth quarter before we were able to put points on the board.

Did I mention that this was an UGLY game already?  Well, it's worth repeating.

Sure, the fourth preseason game is typically the scrubs.  Yeah, KC and SD were blown out too. But damn, after watching this game I really don't feel good about our depth.  On offense or defense.  We made Seattle look like a powerhouse - which is ridiculous.

I understand that you shouldn't weigh too much on the outcome of preseason games. But when you are left with the feeling that you are completely screwed if someone goes down with injury, that's just not a good sign.

Glad preseason is over and most of our guys are in good health. Let's hope the team uses this performance to get fired up for San Diego.  Let's also hope that we don't have to rely too heavily on the next man up.

I'm glad I didn't see it.

It was painful. But I sat there and watched the whole damn thing. Kind of like a train wreck...

Hopefully Pryor can shake the game off - after having such a great outing last week, this game could set him back mentally.

QUOTE(#5):

Leinart's performance was a little more disturbing since he is the immediate backup. He played a lot worse than Pryor did. 6 of 9 for 54 yards isn't as bad as Leinart's performance.

My concern for Pryor wasn't stat related.

QUOTE(#7):

What setback were you referring to?

His frame of mind. Prior to the preseason he was pretty negative and the first two games he continued in that vein. Last week he was really positive and after last night, I hope he doesn't go back to the negative thought process.

It wasn't his fault that the line was a sieve - but he tends to internalize his mistakes even if they aren't his own.
