As the football season begins, we also have the many fantasy leagues that will kick of this week. So for those of us, that are doing some last minute drafts, let's go over some prospects that you should consider picking and those who may be a risk. If you have a high pick (1-4) go with a RB either Foster, McCoy, or Rice. There all solid picks, however with Foster your risking and injury...and remember he hates fantasy owners. Qb's are diffcult, your chances of getting Aaron Rodgers is low, but he's worth it if you can. Now if you want Brady or Brees you also have to spend the first round pick. They may be worth it, but I'd recommend megaton or a RB first. Remember, that qb's score the most points but are not always the most important, having solid RB's is much stronger. For example, qb's like Tony Romo or Peyton Manning can get the job done, and you don't have to waste a big pick on them. Lastly, don't be afraid of rookies I went with Newton last year, and I won, have a backup but going with Griffin could be the best design you ever made. For WR's there are a big variety, there are many strong receivers who go in the third round, you can easily land a good one. If your 7-9 pick, go with Megatron, there is no madden curse, he'll be at the top of his game. Receivers such as Mike Wallace or Victor Cruz should be big turn outs this year. Lastly, for Te's, Defense and the flex spot. For Te's, don't go for Gronk, he's not worth such a high pick, end of second in a 10 person league sounds right for him. Otherwise, there's a couple other big Te's like Jimmy Graham, that will go in the third or fourth round. Defense is easy, just go with what they recommend, they usually aren't a huge factor is fantasy. The flex position is different in all leagues, some have only WR's or only RB's. If you can choose, go with a RB they are much more consistent. Usually you should pick those in the 6-8 picks. Risk Picks: Peyton Manning, Adrian Peterson, Jones-Drew, Andre Johnson and Michael Vick. I hope this helped in anyway and good luck in your fantasy seasons.
