Boston has signed Tyler Seguin to a six-year, $34 million contract extension.

Meanwhile, the NHL and the players will meet tomorrow to try to avoid a lockout.  The current Collective Bargaining Agreement expires on Saturday and Commissioner Gary Bettman has warned the players if a new agreement wasn't reached by Saturday's deadline, the players will be locked out.

I watched one ballgame last night.  Washington beat the New York Mets 5-1.
