The first race of the NASCAR Sprint cup race was a real snoozer. Thank God for the NFL, it was the only thing that keep me awake.

I always pick NASCAR before the NFL, but today it was a no-brainer, this race had nothing to offer as an entertainment venue. This Sunday drive became the little picture on the right hand corner of my wide-screen, you know the PIP.

The event was a parade of pretty color cars fallowing each other like ants, nothing happened to make me anxious or angry, I've seen more excitement in a seniors citizens shuffle board tournament.

The winner was Brad Keselowski who promptly got out of his car with a Miller light, was that a great example for the kids? Look I understand the concept of sponsorship but was it appropriate for him to bring out the booze right out of the car? I don't think so. (He grabbed the can on top of the car)

Just saying.

Lets hope for better races in this and chase and if you love NASCAR and you want them to get a much-needed boost, you need to pull for Dale Earnhardt Jr.

Enough said.

I thought he had it with him in the car. I can see where it might give kids the idea to drink and drive but beer commercials in general show them that. I mean, all those people at the sports bar watching the game drinking and snacking, not too many are calling for a cab when it's time to go home.

However, first two comments on this blog as it pertains to the character of AIYK were unnecessary IMO.

Were have you been, are you one of those guys in the Geico ad that crawl out from under rocks.(LOL) Kez and anyone that's raced a car with beer sponsorship on it, in NASCAR, celebrate wins in VL with it. It's nothing new, so Al get off your soapbox before you fall off of it and hurt yourself and buy yourself some glasses. Since the beer Kez had never was in his car, but came from the 30 packs they have on the roof of his car, and placed on the car by a crewmember.
