04:08 PM ET 09.17 | Has anyone heard about the refs coming back? What is going on there? I am going to try to find some information as to when they will come back. Just give them the damn money already. Jeez. We obviously need them. There are some serious missed calls going on. They don't seem to know all the rules. Even simple ones they are missing.

My son and I have differing points of view on this issue. I say all 32 owners take an infinitesimal percentage....so small that the only way to see it is with the Hubble Telescope...pool it together, put it in a 401K or whatever these things go into for the refs pension plan and get on with it. He agrees with the owners that these guys are part-time workers with other jobs/means of employment and don't deserve an NFL pension since they have one from their other jobs.

We've respectfully agreed to disagree for the sake of family harmony.
