Game 1. Notre Dame 50 Navy 10 - Notre Dame controlled the tempo and dominated the line of scrimage from the outset. Stephon Tuitt looks faster then some teams tailbacks lol. I really can't believe that was Manti Teo's first interception and fumble recovery.
Game 2. Purdue 17 Notre Dame 20 - Well they gutted this one out, with 5 starters going down with injury. They needed Tommy "cement shoes" Rees to come out and run the 2 minute at the end of the game. I'm glad Kelly did we needed that win. The defense looked good agian as one of Purdue's touchdowns came on a short field after the turn over by Golson. Stephon Tuitt and Louis "irish chocolate" Nixx III came up huge in this game. Thing that needs to improve is the offensive line, but to give them a break Purdue's DT's are very very good.
Game 3. Notre Dame 20 Michigan State 3 - Notre dame showed from the outset they were not afraid to attack Michigan State's very good defense. The recievers got behind there secondary early and often just to bad Golson missed on a few. The defense is the best I've seen in many many years. What a day by the freshman Sheldon Day, two plays in a row he made a big impact and then jumped up and hurt himself lol even though Kelly says that it happened a few play earlier.
Thank you for reading and theres more to come.
