With a 12-3 record, 109 out of a possible 120 points in my pool and a jump up to sixth position overall (out of 68 participants), I have no reason to complain about this week's NFL results.
But, come on Kansas City, what are you doing to me? I finally decide to show you some love, after your convincing win the previous week, and pick you to beat San Diego and you turn around with that turkey of a performance? Arghhhhh....
And Dallas. Wow. Des Bryant acts like the ball carries some communicable disease, the offensive line decides someone else should do the blocking for a change and the defensive backfield.... sorry, was there a defensive backfield playing last night for the Cowboys? I don't think I ever saw one. Awful. And I had to go a pick them. I actually (I never thought I'd say this) feel sorry for Tony Romo. Five INTs? How many were really his fault?
Tampa Bay, well, I'm not going to hold it against them too much. They played hard and fought valiantly until the end. I have to admit, when I saw they'd kicked a FG in the last minute to move ahead, I thought my pick was a good one. Too bad Washington had another kick in them!
On the upside, I guess I have to be grateful for both Atlanta and Arizona pulling off wins to keep me on track. Those were close, weren't they?
Of course, after going 12-3, I can't help but feel some pressure to keep it up for Week 5.
