08:01 PM ET  10.02 | The Los Angeles Lakers start training camp this week with some new faces, and with the expectations of wining a championship. The big question is who will pack the bench. For two strait years the lakers were bounced from the playoffs because of the lack of fire power coming off the bench. No consistent three point shooters. This years bench has some potential with Antawn Jamison, Steve Blake, Jordan Hill and Jodie Meeks heading the bench mob. Jamison and Meeks can hit the three. Hill Can play defense and rebound. Who will fill out the rest of the bench? Basketball Mind Freeze says: You will see a battle of the big men with Centers: Robert Sacre, Ronnie Aguilar, and Greg Sokmogyi Fighting for a spot. For the first time in years the Lakers have three solid centers that can come in behind Howard and contribute. Jim and Mitch have a gift for Spotting talented big men. The Lakers may only keep one of the three. Back ups for Meeks and Blake: Out of the remaining guards, the one with the most athletesism is DJ Odom. The Most improved player coming out of the summer league for the Lakers was Darius Morris. His outside shot is better, and he's stronger. Ebanks will Backup MWP. For Andrew Gaudelock and Reeves Nelson they may see more time in the D league. The rest of the players that the Lakers acquired from the trade for Howard: Earl Clark and Chis Duhon are on the bubble and may not be on the team but who knows?.
