I think it would be great if Brad won the Championship, and finally bring Penske the one this that has eluded him in the world of racing a NASCAR Cup Championship.

Although I disagree with your 2 against 43 comment. This year it is more 1 against 43. The #22 hasn't been all that great this year, and I don't know how much help it has been as a test car at the track.

Yes. One against the whole lot. Brad has gotten the job done. No question about that. If not for AJ"s 'hiccup' he might have been in the fight as well. And, about the #22: I believe Sam Hornish has done a fantastic job with that car in Cup. Plus, in my opinion, Logano will not make the grade to Penske level.

I agree about Lagano not making the grade for Penske. It could be argued that a Penske Cup car is a downgrade from a Gibbs Cup car, and if Lagano couldn't cut it with Gibbs how can he cut it in "lesser" equipment next year.

Everything can be argued, some might say I'm a testament to that. Part of my 'job' in life has been to provide alternative concepts. Therefore, I'm not able to 'buy-into' the Gibbs better than Penske idea. It will be interesting to see how soon Penske can 'get-up-to-speed' with his new Fords.

'Hollywood' scenario??.. it might be.. too bad that Penske won't be driving Dodge after this year so the 'us against the world' battle cry won't cut it for not winning a Cup championship after this year will be his last.. if Penske doesn't win it this year.. and I don't think he will.. then his chances will fade even faster when he switches to Fords next year

Sometimes just changing teams/owners etc makes the difference needed, even though teams may be equal.....I think Logano will eventually make the Chase.......not win it, but make it.....by maybe 2014.

Penske has had a very interesting year....One driver gets suspended for drugs and the other one suprisingly wins the big one.
