Day 20 of the NHL lockout. After breaking off labour talks this past Tuesday, the league and the players have unexpectedly resumed negotiations today.
The Major League Baseball postseason started today. Right now, the St. Louis Cardinals leads the Atlanta Braves 3-2 in the fourth inning of the National League wildcard game. Later the Baltimore Orioles will face the Texas Rangers in the American League wildcard game.
The Los Angeles Angels signed Chris Iannetta to a three-year contract extension.
With no baseball to watch last night, I watched Thursday Night football instead. St. Louis defeated Arizona 17-3.
Jonas Blixt leads the Shriners Open by two strokes (-14) after two rounds.
