01:14 PM ET 10.06 | It warms my heart to see Allmendinger back at the race track. There's rumor regarding AJ and the #51, the one Kurt's been driving and wrecking the crap out of; and leaving in the lurch for Furniture Row (how sweet, how manly of him). The same #51 that's been incapable of getting hardly any level of sponsorship certainly won't see the 'bucks' flow in with David Regan at the wheel. - - - - - Crap, even I could sell AJ to sponsors before I could Regan. If it were my job, and it certainly isn't, I've got five or six companies I'd be on the phone with right now. In fact, could you imagine if the NASCAR Recovery Program was to back Allmendinger? Just for a race or two? The opportunity to show the world of all sports how their program is successful could be monumental. Virtually every other major sport fails when it comes to drugs (well, they fail in many other areas too). Sponsorship of AJ Allmendinger could be immense for the right organization. - - - - Think about it. - - - - PS - let's get Tebow back in the game, with or without a shirt.

Al; Please, I understand why you don't get it. I really do, and it's OK. And no, Adderall is not on my call list. AJ is not a kid, he's an experienced race car driver and has shown well of himself. He doesn't drive "cheap" like so many do, he doesn't whine like so many do and I don't know about him being Speed's golden boy. I will say this; In my book AJ Almendinger is the kind of man, the kind of sportsman, than can show well of the sport and of himself. If the unbelievably drug-infested ball sports can give opportunity after opportunity, after opportunity to continual abusers, then let the sport of NASCAR find a good spot for Allmendinger.
