Day 26 of the NHL lockout and labour talks resumed today.  The only thing is, both sides are still discussing secondary issues, not the major financial issues yet, so don't get too exited folks.  Furthermore, the players are threatening to hand over a proposal with out the salary cap if the lockout continues.  That was the one major issue that lead to the cancellation of the 2004-05 season.  As a hockey fan, I don't like where this is going.

Pinch hitter Raul Ibanez was definitely the hero in game three of the New York Yankees/Baltimore series last night as he, not only hit the tying home run, but he also hit the winning home run in the bottom of the 12th inning to give the Yankees a 3-2 win, and the 2-1 series lead.

St. Louis has a 2-1 series lead now after hammering Washington yesterday afternoon 8-0.

Oakland tied their ALDS up at two last night by defeating Detroit 4-3.

I also watched some exhibition NBA action last night.  Detroit beat Toronto 101-99.

Jhonattan Vegas leads the Fry.com Open by one stroke (-6) after one round.
