We endured the talk all season. The best ever. The best coach ever. The best to ever play the game. The best quarterback ever. The best offense ever. The best team ever.
Finally. All the ridiculous hype is over.
The 2007 New England Patriots are not the best team in history. Now we have proof.
The funny thing is if the Giants hadn't made a circus catch during their final drive, all the talking heads would have jumped on the Pats' "Best Ever" bandwagon.
All the real "Best Ever" candidates -- like the 1990 49ers -- would have been surpassed by an undeserving team that looked downright mediocre during the last two months.
Let's remember, this was a team that should have lost to the Ravens. Could have lost to the Eagles, the Jaguars, the Giants (during a regular season game that didn't even matter to New York) and the Chargers.
Oh, and one thought for the Patriots: Bill Belichick leaving the field before the game was over was a no-class act.
Now that I think abut it, maybe that was the most classless move ever.

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! The Patriots lost, YES!!!! I have never been happier. belichek is such a punk, i love that he left the field early it just shows what a coward he really is. I hate eli manning (I am a Charger fan to so i have my reasons) but im happy he beat the patriots who i hate even more. Come on Cassidy, my brother is far from being a Chargers fan, have you looked at the women IN the cheerleader outfits? That may be the reason he picked the "Charger" cheerleaders. And I agree with this post. The league was relatively weak this season, how else could a marginal Packers team play at home for a change to go to Glendale? The Pats sputtered into the super bowl and finally received a reality check thanks to Tyree. And you know what? Brady is great blah blah blah, if he gets pressured, he loses his effectiveness. Anyways, my brother happens to be a huge Raiders apologist hahah
