Well, as you probably already know by now, Derek Jeter of the New York Yankees broke his ankle last night in the 12th inning of Game One of the ALCS and will not play for the rest of the postseason. This may hurt the Yankees from getting to the World Series. Oh, by the way, the Yankees lost to the Tigers last night 6-4 in extra innings.
Also, Raul Ibanez set a postseason record by becoming the first player in Major League history to have three home runs in the ninth inning or later in a single postseason when he hit a two run blast last night's game.
I watched the Toronto Marlies battle it out against the Rochester Americans yesterday afternoon. The game was rather exiting. Ryan Hamilton scored two goals and Mike Kostka got two assists in a 3-1 Marlie's victory.
I also watched some Canadian University football yesterday. McMaster continue their winning ways by defeating Windsor 39-18.
John Mallinger leads the Frys.com Open by two strokes (-15) after three rounds.
