The Knicks will win the Atlantic this season which means they will beat out the Celtics for that title, the Celtics have reloaded in the off-season but how do they match up vs NY? Rondo is a top 5 PG and can wreak havoc but the Knicks can counter with Brewer or Shumpert who are both tall and athletic enough to at the least make things difficult for Rondo. Another one of the Celtics stars is Paul Pierce who matches up with Melo and they cancel each other out which leaves the Celtics to the last part of the big 3 and that's KG. I think he still has plenty left to him but he had to finish last year as the Center and they haven't signed any new Centers who can deal with Chandler, Amare or Camby. If the Celtics want to have KG fresh healthy for the playoffs they won't want to use him for more than 30 minutes a night and that is alot, what does that leave for Boston? Green, Bass, Sullinger, Joseph and Darko and the knicks are big and talented enough to handle that, I think Boston does have the ability to win the division but between the new talent of the Nets, 76ers, Raptors and Knicks and wanting to have Pierce & KG to be healthy and fresh for the playoffs they won't go overboard trying to finish ahead of a more talented Knick team. The Knicks are older now but not in the starting 5, and the vets they did sign as backups were all succesful as starters last season. Both the starters & backups are superior to Boston which to me leads to the Atlantic division title.
