As the season heats up, we see divisional rivalries start to flare. With the 'Skins in New York to take on the Giants, the Jests and New England hitting the field agaisnt each other and Cincy hosting the Steelers (among others), we should see some close divisional races begin to sort themselves out.

Here are the World's Worst Football Picks for NFL Week 7:

San Fran over Seattle: I like the 'Hawks and quarterback Russell Wilson. I love Seattle's defense. But I don't think there's a team in the league that can stay with the San Francisco 49ers when they're angry and smarting from a loss. (11)

Cleveland to beat Indy: I'd love to jump on the Luck bandwagon but I just can't. The Colts simply don't have the team around their star young quarterback yet. Meanwhile, the talented but inexperienced Browns tasted victory last week against a strong Cincinnati club and will carry that momentum into this game in Indy. (3)

Houston over Baltimore: Two strong teams that are hurting on defense. We saw what over-confidence and the injury to Cushing did to Houston last week and now we get to see how the Ravens deal with the loss of two more defensive stalwarts. I think Baltimore is a little unlucky to have to take on a Houston team that, like San Fran above, feels it has something to prove after a big loss last week: the Ravens might have been able to regroup well enough to beat most other teams in the league after their loss of Ray Lewis and Ladarius Webb but I think asking them to control that high-octane Houston offense is a bit much. (4)

Green Bay to beat St. Louis: I'm convinced the Packers are back. And that's bad news for the pretenders in the National Football Conference, like the Lions. (12)

New Orleans over Tampa Bay: I think this is a mistake. I keep expecting the Saints to come back into form and I keep getting disappointed. Meanwhile, Tampa is playing well. Oh well... (5)

Carolina to beat Dallas: I just don't like the Cowboys. (2)

Minnesota over Arizona: The Cards have been exposed and the Vikings are a good team coming off a tough loss. (10)

Buffalo to beat Tennessee: The Bills were lucky to escape with a win last week but I still think they're good enough to beat the Titans in Orchard Park. (9)

Giants over Washington: OK. Maybe New York is entitled to have a little let down after their dismantling of the Niners and their mystique last week. But I can't see them losing focus in a divisional game against a hated rival that can be dangerous. (8)

Oakland to beat Jacksonville: I can't figure the Raiders out but they should have won last week. Jacksonville is also a bit of a mystery so I'll go with the home team that has at least played some better games. (6)

New England over the Jests: New York looked great this past weekend. That means they'll stink the joint out this week. And they face a Patriots team that I think is actually better than its record. In New England. (7)

Cincy to beat Pittsburgh: Both lost winnable games last week. The Bengals are at home and are a young team on the rise. The Steelers? Yesterday's news. (1)

Chicago over Detroit: No faith in the Lions. None whatsoever. Meanwhile, the Bears have claws this year and won't lose a winnable divisional game, at home, in front of the Monday Night Football audience. (13)

San Fran Seattle this to me is a statement game for the 9ers if they don't make one this race just opened up big time
Clev/Indy total pick 'em game but I'm leaning Indy
Houston/Baltimore another statement game it's time for the Texans to say they are SB contenders anything but a win and they might start really missing Cushing
GB/St Lou like the Christians to the Lions(see I can reference the Lions in a game they ain't playing too ....8^D}....)
NO/TB bet they won't have Brees in for the kneel downs
Carolina /Dallas me either
Minnesota/Arizona shows what a good running game and adequate protection will do for a young QB's confidence .. can you hear me Ken Whisenhunt
Buffalo /Tennessee another pick 'em of who cares teams
Giants /redskins kinda expecting an upset here as the Giants are how the NFC East is judged and the Giants coming off that big win possible letdown
Oakland Jax who cares vol 2
New England Jets if the Jets are going to surprise me this is where it would happen ....ain't going to
Cincy Pittsburgh another pick'em but Cincy has to start winning against Pitt/Balt if it wants to contend
Chi/Det Detroit seems to play better in national games than Jay Cutler I'll take the Lions but they ain't going anywhere this season
