Day 32 of the NHL lockout. Despite being positive yesterday with the 50/50 proposal that was offered by the owners, NHLPA director, Donald Fehr is less enthusiastic today, saying the offer given to the players still represents an enormous reduction to players salaries.

Well, the New York Yankees are on the brink of elimination as they lost to Justin Verlander and the Detroit Tigers last night 2-1. The Tigers now lead the ALCS 3-0.
I also caught some NBA exhibition action last night between the Brooklyn Nets and the Boston Celtics. The Nets won 97-96.
