There was a least one hockey game on t.v. last night. I watched some Ontario Hockey League action between the Erie Otters and the London Knights. The Otters won in a shoot-out 3-2.
San Francisco kept themselves alive in the NLCS by shutting out the St. Louis Cardinals last night 5-0. Game Six will be played tomorrow night.
Derek Jeter of the New York Yankees underwent surgery today to repair a left ankle fracture that he suffered last week during Game One of the ALCS.
Jim Furyk leads the McGladrey Classic by one stroke (-13) after 11 holes in the third round.
