It's a pretty strong free-agent class and early speculation says the Jets will make a strong attempt to sign Patriots cornerback Asante Samuel. Samuel and Darrelle Revis would give the Jets the best pair of corners in the NFL.

Asante Samuel is by far one of the best and most well known corner backs in the NFL.  If the Patriots don't hold on to him, they're going to have a tough time next year on the defensive end.  However, if the Jets take Samuel, they'll have a huge advantage over the rest of the league with Asante Samuel and Darrelle Revis on the corners, who are both by far two of the best corner backs in the league.  If the Patriots even want to have a chance at next year's superbowl, they're gonna have to stand strong and try to hold on to every player they have right now, including Asante and Randy.

The Pats won't keep either of them. The Pats have shown in the past that they will let a guy goes once it costs too much money for them to keep. Teams will be throwing money at Moss and Samuel.

Samuel is going to be a Jet. The Jets are under the cap and can afford to go for a Nate Clements type deal that the Pats won't match.

Moss is gone somewhere. Some owner is lying in wait with the cash.
