Wide receiver Randy Moss, another free agent, reiterated his desire to stay with the Patriots. If I am in a New England Patriot uniform next year, I would love to be in one," Moss said. "If I am not, you know, the show must go on." Moss, by the way, was limping noticeably on his right leg after he walked off the podium from his press interview.
Of course Moss wants to stay with the Patriots. Nearly every player in the NFL wants to be with the Patriots. So what, they went 18 and 0 and then lost the Super Bowl. You know they're going to be back at it next year with the same "team" mentality, but they do need to be a little more ready for the challenges that they'll face. However, the Patriots better want to keep Moss next year as well, as he was most certainly one of the most helpful Patriots players in the game. Making clutch catches and running clutch option routes, Moss and Brady was, in essence, the Patriots entire passing offense.
