Day 38 of the NHL lockout and nothing new to report.
I got plenty of baseball news, though.
San Francisco will move on to the World Series after a 9-0 blow out over the Cardinals last night in Game Seven of the NLCS. Marco Scutaro, who set the records for most hits in a playoff series with 14, was awarded the NLCS Most Valuable Player. The Giants have confirmed that Barry Zito will start on the mound in Game One of the World Series tomorrow night. No word on who will start for Detroit.
Not surprising, Ozzie Guillien was dismissed as manager of the Miami Marlins.
Rumour has it that slugger, David Ortiz is closing in on a multi year deal with Boston.
Finally, I watched some exhibition NBA action last night between Milwaukee and Toronto. Rapters defeated the Bucks 104-95.

My early front runners are Sacramento Kings and the Dallas Stars the Kings cause they won't build a new arena (ironically how the Sonics left) and the Stars cause new owner Tom Gaglardi lives in the Pacific Northwest (Vancouver)

I expect the Kings the Stars I see the league stalling them and one of the Panthers Hurricanes or Coyotes leap-frogging them

Yes I know. I'm going to write about it in today's blog. I found out about this at noon on Hockeycentral on Sportsnet.
