Day 53 of the NHL lockout. The league and the players continued talks today, but both sides are being hush hush about what is transpiring during these negotiations.
Last night, I thought I was going to watch the U. S. election on CNN or watch maybe some NBA basketball, thinking that there were no hockey on t.v. To my surprise, their were two Ontario Hockey League games on. I watched the Mississauga/Kitchener game in it's entirety. Kitchener won 3-2.
I then turned it over to watch the last minute and a half of the Kingston/Ottawa game. Kingston won 7-4.
Now to some baseball.
The New York Mets have agreed to "part ways" with outfielder, Jason Bay.
Billy Butler has won Player of the Year honors for the Kansas City Royals.
My beloved Blue Jays lost David Herndon and Scott Cousins. New York Yankees have claimed Herndon off waivers and Seattle claimed Cousins. The Yankees also claimed Josh Spence off waivers.
