Day 55 of the NHL lockout. Both sides continue to meet today.
There was some Major Junior hockey action last night. The OHL All-Stars lost a heart breaker to the Russian Selects 2-1 after leading by one going into the third period. The Russians scored two quick unanswered goals with less than five minutes to go in the game. Both teams will face each other again on Monday night.
I have some NBA news to pass along. The Salt Lake Tribrune is reporting that the Los Angeles Lakers have fired coach Mike Brown. The Lakers have stumbled out of the gate with a 1-4 record.
I got some sad news invovling baseball, Former American League president, Lee McPhail has passed away.
