My three least favorite teams in the NFL are, in order: Pattycakes, Cowgirls, then Giants. I can't stand either team but I absolutely detest the Patriots. I have no moral or fundamental hate for the Cowboys or Giants, they're just division rivals. The Patriots are a prideful team, they are sore winners, and as recently evidenced, sore losers. The greatest part about the Patriots losing was wiping that smug smile off of BB's face. Prettyboy looked like he was having some girlfriend trouble and the linebackers looked like they were having strokes. What it came down to was that the Patriots underestimated the Giants and did not play with the passion that most underdogs have. They made careless errors and did not perform down the stretch.
As for that last drive, the Patriots could have been playing for the win instead of the tie if BB had used even an ounce of logic. A 49-yard field goal? That would have been easy pickings for any kicker. They are paid a million dollars a year to kick field goals not stand on the sidelines and watch their team get annihalated. Gostowski was hitting 50+ in warmups. What was Belichick thinking? 4th and 13? Don't go for it! Just take the three points. Better three than none. Bill needs to come out and admit that he was at fault for that decision. I know that Joe Gibbs would come right out and admit wrongdoing. BB on the other hand is way to arrogant a person to ever say it was his bad. He'd rather shed the blame to his model/QB Tom Brady. I always root for the underdog anyway, but I couldn't ever support a cheating team. I don't care if every team does it or if it was just one game. The fact is they cheated and cheaters never win.
The Patriots didn't play like winners and they didn't win.......
or was it the new hoodie?
