Day 62 of the NHL lockout. The league has decided to take a two week break from negotiations. I really have no comment about this. It would be pointless. By now, you probably know how I feel about this lockout.
There was NCAA hockey last night. Notre Dame defeated their rivals Michigan 3-1.
The Jays has made another move. They have signed Milky Cabrera to a two-year contract. I'm not sure if I like this deal. This guy was suspended 50 games for testing positive for testosterone this past season.
Oakland has traded Tyson Ross and Minor Leaguer A.J. Kirby-Jones to San Diego. In exchange, the Athletics will get infielder Andy Parrino and Andrew Werner.
The Most Valuable Player Awards have been handed out. No surprise, Triple Crown winner, Miguel Cabrera won for the American League and Buster Posy won for the National League.
The Chicago Cubs have signed Dioner Navarro to a one-year, $1.75 million contract.
