New England Patriots 19-0 perfect season was killed in the Super Bowl, courtesy of the rifle arm of Super Bowl MVP, Eli Manning.     Eli Manning and the New York Giants offense set the tone with a 10 minute opening drive to start the Super Bowl, while a brutal New York Giants defense peppered Tom Brady with pressure from start to finish.   The New York Giants withstood the pressure of an 18-0 coronated champion before them, coming in it to win it, and were not intimidated by either the New England Patriots or the Super Bowl spotlight.

The New York Giants defense refused Tom Brady his rhythm, with Brady losing his patented cool at times, even looking dare I say intimidated by the force of the New York Giants relentless pressure.   The New York Giants have also given hope to 31 other NFL franchises in their 17-14 stunner.     Pressure Tom Brady up the gut, and good things can happen.    The New York Giants stymied the New England ground attack in the process as well, placing further pressure on the shoulders of Brady.

The Patriots did muster a go ahead score, 14-10, with 2:39 left in the 4th quarter, looking the part of champion coming off the ropes to deliver a knockout punch.    However, it was Eli Manning, out Bradying Brady on this night, bringing his New York Giants all the way downfield for the go ahead score in the middle of a 9-14 passing 4th quarter, for 152 yards and 2 touchdowns.   MVP, indeed.

In another classic Super Bowl, the New York Giants pull off a huge upset, 17-14, and end an amazing season until now for the New England Patriots, who finish the year at, Patriot Hater Nation get ready.... 18-1.
