Day 70 of the NHL lockout and nothing new to report.
McMaster's winning streak came to an end last night. Too bad it was the CIS title game. Laval won the Vanier Cup by a score of 37-14. In fact, Laval shut out McMaster in the second half. Maxime Boutin of Laval won the Most Valuable Player honours with two touchdowns, 253 rushing yards, and 24 carries.
There was Western Hockey League action last night. Edmonton defeated Moose Jaw convincingly 5-1.
Now to some baseball.
DeMarlo Hale has left Baltimore to become thne bench coach for the Toronto Blue Jays.
St. Louis star, David Freese was uninjured in a car accident on Thursday after he tried to a avoid hitting a deer and hit a tree.
