03:02 AM ET  12.05 | Why is University of Cincinnati of Big East Conference Head Football Coach Butch Jones turning down a $!3.5 million 5 year guaranteed offer from University of Colorado, a PAC 12 school. Why is he also turning down an excelent offer from Purdue University of Big 10 Conference. He is a family man that talks about family values to his team all the time. At first he sounds a little corny, like represent the "C", one big family at Cincy, etc. until one relizes he genuanly bielives and lives what he says. Last year he turned down offeres from NC of ACC Conference, Univ of Illinois of Big 10 Conference, UCLA of PAC 10 Conference, and mind you all offeres were for more money than he makes at Univ. of Cincinnati, approx. $1.5 million. He and his wife and 3 young sons love Cincinnati, and I think it is becomming abundantly clear that he and his family will be getting even more love back from greater Cincinnati comunity. Yes indeed, a very lucky University of Cincinnati. Oh did I mention that Uc has won or shared 4 Big East Conference Championships in last five years, and the only FBS school to have 4 ten win seasons in last 5 years.
