04:28 PM ET 12.08 | There's been another tragic incident involving an NFL player. Dallas Cowboy's defensive lineman, Josh Brent is facing a intoxication manslaughter charge after a single vehicle accident that killed teammate, Jerry Brown about 2:20 a.m. this morning. This incident happened only a week after Jovan Belcher of the Kansas City Chiefs killed his girlfriend and turned the gun on himself in front of team personel. Terrible. Just terrible. Day 84 of the NHL lockout and nothing new to report. I did watched the London Knights again last night. They won the second straight game in two nights, defeating the Niagara Ice Dogs 5-2. Now to some baseball. Yet, I have some more sad news to pass along. Longtime Minor League manager, P.J. Carey passed away yesterday at age 59. Texas have traded Michael Young to Philadelphia for Josh Lindblom and Lisalverto Bonilla. ESPN.com is reporting that Cincinnati has signed Ryan Ludwick to a two-year, $15 million contract, pending a physical. Arizona have signed Brandon McCarthy to a two-year, $15.5 million contract.
