05:33 PM ET  12.11 | After 21 games the Los Angeles Lakers find themselves at 9 wins 12 losses and struggling. Going on the road with a 2 game losing streak, they play the Cleveland Cavaliers on a 5 game losing streak. The Lakers need a win to start the road trip off on the right track. The wrong track would be a loss to a team with a 4 wins 17 loss record. The next 5 games are big. They need to win 4 of the next 5 games to stay close for a playoff bid. Forget world championships at this point. The Lakers are not playing good enough basketball to make the playoffs. The Lakers may need to look for more guard help.

Looks like Nash will be out until after Christmas. Lakers need a big guard (6 ft. 7 inch type) that can score. Too much dribbling not enough shooting
