Before I start venting I would like to mention a few of the bright spots in this young Braves season:

#1-Chipper has been healthy.

#2-Renteria has been extremely consistent.

#3-Kelly Johnson has overachieved (though i believe that Renteria should lead off).

#4-Starting rotation 1-4 have been adequite. Unfortunately we cant get a win from the 5 spot to save our life.

#5-Relievers have been good except for a couple Paronto and Wickman choking incidents.

#6- Tyler Yates. Dont let his ERA fool you. 100% of those runs came from 1 bad outting. He has some great stuff.

Now that ive got that out of the way, I am sencing that the walls are quickly closing in.

Fact: Nats have the worst record in baseball yet they beat the Braves 5 out of the last 7 times they met.

During this series the NATs relievers have allowed 1 run in 16 innings of work. That tells me that we are doing all of our damage early and choke down the stretch.

To make matters worse, we lost first place to the mets because of this series.

I have no idea whats going on in their heads. Andrew is casually swinging the bat and laughs when he strikes out like Pedro Cerrano. Francour cant take a first pitch to save his life. Mcann is on fire one week and mentally absent the next. Redman should be pitching for my slow pitch softball league.
