Some weeks, the games just seem to pick themselves. Week 16 appears to be one of those. Almost every game has a clear favourite and that spells trouble for the likes of me.

With that in mind, here are the World's Worst Football Picks for Week 16:

Atlanta to beat Detroit: Duh... (16)

New England over Jacksonville: See above. (15)

Miami to beat Buffalo: See 1 and 2 above. (14)

Jests over San Diego: The Jets plan to start McIlory so at least one player on the field will be trying. The Chargers have given up on the season already. (7)

Cincinnati over Pittsburgh: The Bengals are playing for the playoffs. They're playing well. It's time to overcome the obstacle known as the Steelers. (6)

Tampa Bay over St. Louis: Time for the Bucs to pull out of the dive and at least even out before the end of the season. (5)

Houston to beat Minnesota: The Texans want to keep things rolling into the playoffs. The Vikes are playing to get AP his 2,100+ yards. Both can happen, even if Houston wins. (13)

Carolina over Oakland: Duh... (12)

Washington to beat Philly: I picked the 'Skins to win the East and I'm not about to change that, especially when the struggling Eagles are their foes. (11)

Green Bay over Tennessee: Have I said "Duh..." yet? I have. OK. Repeat it here. (10)

New Orleans to beat Dallas: Two perennial playoff contenders who are (or will be) out of contention. Pick the Saints for whatever reason you like. (4)

Indy over KC: Playoff team versus also ran. (9)

Denver to beat Cleveland: See 1, 2, 3, 8, and 10 above. (8)

NY Giants over Baltimore: The Ravens have descended into distrust and blame. (3)

Arizona to beat Chicago: Bad pick. Bears will win. But I don't like using the delete key. (2)

Seattle to beat San Francisco: Russell Wilson, Marshawn Lynch, playoff desperation. At Seattle. (1)
