04:21 PM ET  12.24 | Since it's Christmas Eve, It's a slow news day in sports. Day 100 of the NHL lockout and nothing new to report. Only one baseball note to pass along. Miami have signed John Maine to a Minor League contract. There will be no blog tomorrow. Just like most of you, I will be enjoying my turkey and stuffing. HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE!
