I am sorry I never updated my 2012 predictions as I did on my Facebook page... Nonetheless, the best teams in the AFC are Denver and Houston; with Denver being favored in the Super Bowl.
In the NFC, the playoff teams are all very equally-rated and turnovers will likely decide the games. I personally predicted the longest shots, technically; Washington and Seattle.
In the Super Bowl, while the AFC is clearly better; the NFC will get some turnovers or a bad call and coaching (Shanihan vs. Fox); something odd that will have them emerging victorious.
Here are some awards notes, as that is an area of contention. I faithfully believe the "Comeback Player of the Year" should go to Peyton Manning. His time away from the game and injuries surely qualify him as the winner. I am not surprised as he is the greatest QB to ever play.
As for "Rookie of the Year"; no doubt RG III is great, but he runs second to Andrew Luck. Luck took a last place, lousy team and led them to the playoffs more-so, than Robert Griffin who has virtually done the same.
Finally, for MVP, I believe it should be Adrian Peterson. If he were not with the Vikes they wouldn't be in the post-season picture this season; Manning's Broncos, however, were in the AFC title game last season without him. Again, AP is more "valuable" to his team than Peyton and honestly, Luck and RG III run 2-3 in my opinion.
As for the underrated Russell Wilson of Seattle; he may well wind-up Super Bowl MVP and if not him, RG III...this way all these great players may be rewarded.
Finally, in 2013, Tim Tebow will greatly improve the Jags is he goes there; and the Jets and ESPN's Merril Hoge...nowhere again for their Anti-Christian behavior and opinions.
