Day 106 of the NHL lockout and nothing new to report.
At the Spengler Cup yesterday, Fribowrg-Gotteron (Switzerland) defeated Alder Mannheim (Germany) in the first quarter-final 5-2. In the second quarter-final game, Davos (Switzerland) defeated Ufa (Russia) 7-5.
There was also some AHL hockey action last night. Abbotsford edged Chicago 3-2.
