Day 107 of the NHL lockout. The two sides are expected to meet face to face today. I'm not exited about this, considering what has happen in the past face to face meetings. Negotiations, for some reason, seem to always break down in this format. Maybe they should stick to emails.
Meanwhile, there was other hockey action elsewhere.
Team Canada edged the United States 2-1 yesterday in World Junior action. Canada's
goaltender Malcolm Subban made 36 saves during the game.
In Spengler Cup action, Team Canada defeated Fribourg (Switzerland) 5-1.
There was also an OHL game on last night. Oshawa beat Owen Sound 4-2.
