How about those RU girls? For the 3rd straight time, they knocked off the UConn women's team. I expect nothing less but for the Rutgers women to get back to the National Championship! This was a great win, and a much needed win...it could, not definitely...yet, but could, solidify them as the No. 1 seed going into the Big East tournament next month. They are peaking at the right time...just like last year before they made their amazing run. C. Vivian Stringer is an excellent coach that always has them prerpared for the game. And the girls themsleves are very athletic. Ajavon is our leader, no doubt, and I really like the outside shooting of Zurich and Adams, and the inside presence of Kia Vaughn and Essence Carson. These women all have a place in my heart, and they make me very proud, as an alumnus, a fan, and more importantly, a friend. Keep rolling ladies! And as the men in football would say, Keep chopping wood!

Did you watch the Lady Vols beat Rutgers last night. It is nice to have more than just 2 women's teams that have a chance.
