Apparently, the pension and salary cap issues are being resolved. Sportnet is also reporting a tentative deal could be done within the next 24 hours. Keep your fingers crossed folks. Jose Bautista has declared himself 100 per cent healthy after a season ending left wrist injury last year that required surgery. The Jays also claimed Chad Beck off waivers. Texas have signed Lance Berkman to one-year contract. The Chicago Cubs have signed Dontrelle Willis to a Minor League contract. The Los Angeles Dodgers have signed Alfredo Amezaga to a Minor League contract. The New York Mets have signed Omar Quintanilla to a Minor League contract.
