12:39 PM ET 01.07 | after 2 times that chip spurned the nfl, the owners will not let him get another chance at coaching in the big league.Maybe chip will learn that the way to get a pay raise is not to go out and interview and wait for the almighty phil knight to come riding in on his nike horse to roll out top cash for his beloved coach.or maybe that is just a great blue print to get what he wants out of a payday.it work twice already, and now with the rumblings of the ncaa sanctions looming in his near future maybe he is playing like a good soldier and going back to oregon and take his penalty like a man .or maybe he just wanted to see how much money that old phil had in is nike pockets !which ever good ole chip maybe will have to wait another 5 years to get another payday er interview from some stupid nfl owner that they think chip's the real deal.wait and see folks!

If he wasn't sure about leaving Oregon, then why schedule interviews. I heard he was waiting for his dream job, Head coach of the Patriots, we as a Pats fan, he's going to be waiting for the foreseeable future because Belichick isn't going anywhere for a long time.
