12:52 AM ET 05.19 | I am sick and tried of people shutting down Brett Favre because of his age.Yeah the guy is a bit older, but it don't mean he can't play football still. He still has a rocket lancher for an arm and can hustle around the backfield and avoid defenders. The only reason he doesn't look as good is becuase of the depth at WR, if the Packers could get some solid second string and third string WR's, then he could be back as one of the passing leaders in the NFL. Last season he had 3885 passing yards and had the 8th best passing offense in the league, not bad when you whole receiver core is injury plagued. Sure he might not be as sharp as he was a few years ago, but he can still play intelligent,hard working and impressive NFL football. He has the most passion I have seen in professional sports, in the past while, and he knows that he has to keep playing good, and if he doesn't he will be aware of it and hang out his helmet for the last time. But aslong as he feels mentally and physically fit to play in Green Bay, I say...... GO PACK GO!
