I am sick and tried of people shutting down Brett Favre because of his age.Yeah the guy is a bit older, but it don't mean he can't play football still. He still has a rocket lancher for an arm and can hustle around the backfield and avoid defenders. The only reason he doesn't look as good is becuase of the depth at WR, if the Packers could get some solid second string and third string WR's, then he could be back as one of the passing leaders in the NFL. Last season he had 3885 passing yards and had the 8th best passing offense in the league, not bad when you whole receiver core is injury plagued. Sure he might not be as sharp as he was a few years ago, but he can still play intelligent, hard working and impressive NFL football. He has the most passion I have seen in professional sports, in the past while, and he knows that he has to keep playing good, and if he doesn't he will be aware of it and hang out his helmet for the last time. But aslong as he feels mentally and physically fit to play in Green Bay, I say...... GO PACK GO!

I agree man. yeah, he had 18 picks last year, but at least 5 were because of wrong routes and tipped passes. He will have a good year this season.

Farve is awesome, but I really think that he should be sitting at home watching football. They should have the QB of the future in now building for the future, it's not like the packers are going to make the superbowl this year, why not start getting ready for down the road???? If he is still playing then are not doing that... Still love Farve and hope that he does have a wonderful year, just don't think he is doing the right thing for the team....

Aaron Rodgers is not the answer. The Packers first need to bring in a guy who can actually play before we talk about Favre sitting.

Your right he may not be the future, but you will never know if all he is doing is holding the clipboard. But you do have to start looking in that direction???

They gotta trade up in draft and draft the top QB, or do some tradeing once he retires

If Farve was QB'ing behind some of the dynasty teams of past years, he wouldn't have enough fingers to wear his Super bowl and MVP rings.
